The Number 23 is not an allusion to the Jim Carrey movie but rather the Little Rock, Arkansas neighborhood that virtually raised southern spitter SL Jones. On his full length mixtape The Number 23, Jones comes through with enough pyrex visions and thumping bass to make most gums melt from the goodness. A updated version of Jay-Z’s “1-900-Hustler” entitled “Grind-100-Hustler” featuring Killer Mike & Pill keeps everything as gutter as you would expect as the MMG member from Pink City and the Grind Time general push things along over the timeless instrumental.
More features on the tape include Waka Flocka, Don Cannon, Yo Gotti, Lex Luger, Trae Tha Truth and more, serving enough Southern cook up for your Memorial Day plans.
